Our story
At Sumner Realty, military discipline and creative thinking work side by side for our clients. Derrick, a U.S. Army veteran with both active duty and reserve service, brings structure and meticulous organization to every transaction. Emily adds creativity, fresh ideas, and a client-first energy that keeps each transaction moving smoothly.
The Army brought us to the Emerald Coast, where Emily's family has lived for more than a decade. We stayed for the beach, the active lifestyle, and the people, and we bring that same local commitment to everyone we serve.
Clear communication and genuine relationships are the foundation of our business, which is why our clients feel confident and well cared for from the first conversation to closing day.
Service is central to who we are. We have given hundreds of volunteer hours yearly to our community, including sea turtle rehabilitation at the Gulfarium CARE Center, Building Homes for Heroes, Habitat for Humanity, Food for Thought, and local food banks. We also serve on the Community and Military Outreach task force and proudly support and sponsor morale and fundraising events on our local bases.
